Tier 2 visa for baby born in UK

Post by ukvisat2 » Mon Aug 13, 2018 3:11 pm

Hi,

Currently I have Tier 2 leave to remain, which is valid until 14th Sep 2019

As I have to travel to home country end of this year, I am planning to apply for tier 2 dependent child visa for my Son, who born in UK (December 2017).

My question is that do I have to again apply for tier 2 visa extension for my Son as I will be eligible for ILR next year 02 November 2019 according to my timeline?

01-Dec-14 to 31-Aug-2017 Tier 2 entry clearance
01-Sep-2017 to 14-Sep-2019 Tier 2 leave to remain

Thank you
