Tier 2 ICT visa extension

Hi,

I have a ICT visa that expires in January 2019. I am currently in India and have an opportunity to go back to the UK on ICT. Can you vlarifybthe following ?

1. I understand i have to be in the UK to apply for ICT visa extension. How many days before my visa expiry date must I be in the UK for me to qualify for the Visa extension?
2. Is there a time duration for which I must have been in the UK before I can apply for an extension? For ex my first stint in the UK was for 9 months. Will that be a challenge for me to apply for an extension?
3. How soon before my expiry can I apply for an extension? For example, if my visa expires in January 2019, can I for extension in September 2018 itself?
4. How long would it take for the visa extension to be processed? On premium and on ordinary extension options?

Hi,

I have an 2 year ICT that expires in January 2019. My wife and child have a Dependent Tier 2 that expires at the same time. We are both currently out of the UK and have been since November 2017.

Wife has an opportunity to get a Tier 2 General Visa, however my employment is offered only on a Tier 2 ICT visa and extension of the same, that I can apply only by October end 2018.
1. Would I be asked for any justification as to why my wife is not applying for an extension as well when i apply for extension? Would it impact her application on a General Tier 2?

If my wife applies for her visa in September 2018 (for General Tier 2), considering I will still be in the non-extended visa to January 2019,
2. How would it affect the visa duration of my child? Will my child be provided a visa only till January 2019 or would the visa validity be equal to that of my wife's?
3. Can I apply for my child's visa extension based on my extension alone? What kind of paperwork would I have to do for that to prove that my child is dependent on me but not my wife?
