Hi. Not sure if you’ll get this. But wondering if everything was ok in the end? I’ve just married a girl in the Ukraine. I’m living and working in Malta. Been told need to register the marriage in the uk. Same as you. This was by another eu citizen marrying someone outside the eu. And trying to bring him here. But as far as I know she can just come for 3 months. If she has a letter of employent then she can just get her residency card. Thanks. Ryan.

Sorry. Forgot to add. The uk embassy in Kiev and Malta saying no. Don’t need to do any of that.

Register your marriage in the UK and obtain official UK papers confirming the marriage.
Then she can come and join you and get registered in Malta.
