British Passport- OCI card and India Visa

Hi

I had received my baby's British Passport in the month of July 2018. She was born in India on 22/09/2016. She has been staying in India with me since then. Now I will be applying for my spouse visa and for my daughter I believe I have to apply for an Indian Visa.

Can someone please guide me that is it advisable ad possible to apply for an OCI card for her

or shall I just apply for an Indian Visa since her birth as I still donot know how much time will it take for my spouse visa to come.
