Doubt regarding referees for Child

Hi
I'm applying BC for my son, who's born in the UK before my ILR is approved.
Could someone pls clarify if I can use my British friend as a referee who shares the same address as my son, he lives with us.

Also, I'm unable to get a professional referee i.e. a doctor or a health visitor who refused to provide their details, so can I use another British friend of mine as 2nd referee instead.
