Signing and reporting

Post by Be29 » Tue Aug 21, 2018 11:08 pm

Hello, please will like to find out if anyone had similar encounter
I started signing this year after the hospital passed my name to HM. Use to go every 2 weeks. Changed it to 6 months, to my surprise I went for signing and my reporting documents was collected. However I have submitted an application on family basis. The guy said I will be sent another one to my home address.

Something tells me I won’t need the document as my application will be approved that why the guy collected them. Anyone ever had similar concerns. Ps submitted my application for about 4month now have not heard final decision from them

Make sure you make a note of the time and date this happened.

If there are any complications in the future and the HO accuse you of absconding, you can explain you were awaiting instructions.

best of luck

Thanks for your reply, I have noted the date and time. But do have an idea why the document couldn’t have collected without replacements immediately? Just really curious. Still waiting on both my application decision and the reporting document. So at least I can know my fate

I'm surprised by that too

A friend of mine applied via an asylum route and no letter was given.

He then got an urgent letter to say he had not been compliant and to come on Thursdays.

When he did turn up he explained he didn't have any letter prior to the date and they issued a new document..

They seem to have a rule for everyone!
