Application status in-country application

Hello everyone,

I am absolutely terrified now when checking my online application (standard service, premium sponsor).

Application date: 7 Aug. All fees and IHS were paid on the same day.

Biometrics and documents sent on 8 Aug.

I checked my online application and it still says I would need to complete the biometrics and documents. Is it normal?

I haven’t received any email or acknowledgment of receipt from the UKVI, I didn’t opt for the SMS service (wa there any? I can’t remember).

1. I have no clue about what’s going on with my application. Is it normal?

2. If they return my passport and documents, would they email you about it or they will just send to the address provided in the application form? I will move house soon so won’t know where it will be sent too.

I apply within the UK, switching from Tier 4 visa if it helps.

You have the receipt after the biometric, did you keep it?

They will send you to the address provided in the application form. They won't inform you.

1. I still have the receipt for the collection with me.

2. It's been more than a week since I posted my documents and I haven't had them returned. My sponsor is a premium (a big university in the UK) and from what I gather in this board, they will return the documents very soon.

Is there anyway I could check if the documents have been returned or lost in the post?
