No way to communicate with UK Decision Making Centre

Post by orde » Wed Aug 22, 2018 2:54 pm

I have applied for my foreign spouse + her her kid to settle with me in the UK. I sent off the supporting documents for the applications but I just got an email from Sheffield saying that in the case of the kid they have not received any supporting documents.

The fact there was no email about the wife's supporting documents makes me think the documents must have arrived. However I sent everything together as one load of evidence for both applications. Which is what the agent told me to do and it makes sense - I only have 1 set of original documents.

Anyway the email says if they don't get the documents for the kid in 10 days then it's over. I would just like to explain to them the situation but there is no way. No number to call, no email nothing.

I did call that £1.37 p/m advice line but they were useless and couldn't help me. I just want to speak to somebody to point out that the big folder of documents is for both applications. I've spent so much time, effort and money on this and the service is terrible. What kind of communication system is it where they can say things to you, but you cannot reply.

What should I do?

If you have surely sent the documents and you have proof that the documents was received at Sheffield then I wouldnt not stress over it too much.

You can email UKVI and ask them to forward your query specifically to the decision making department.
