Vistor travel dates

Post by annonymous786 » Wed Aug 22, 2018 6:45 pm

Hi

if an application is made for a 6 months visit to the UK and on the application form the applicant writes a specific date and length of travel, if they then travel a month or two after the date and stay longer then stated i.e stated 3 weeks but stay 8 will this be an issue?

The delayed travel date isn't like to be a problem, but the extended time in the UK may well be when applying for a visitor visa in the future.

Why don't you state 6 or 7 weeks? Staying less than what you stated shouldn't be a problem.

The application was submitted in july and it was for 5 weeks. the actual travel dates were 5 weeks when the tickets were booked. now they are looking to stay for 6 weeks or even reside permanently. On application and supporting letter they said they would return and do not intend to stay here on a perm basis. they have been reported on report immigration.com numerous occassions even before the visa was issued.
