Representative of an Overseas Business visa

I have a quick question regarding my visa. I hold Overseas Representative Visa and as far as I understand as an overseas representative, in the first instance, I have to be employed by the overseas firm direct but may later be employed by the UK subsidiary (as a director/business development executive). I wanted to find out whether this is also the case with the salary, where I can be paid directly by UK subsidiary once the business here is fully operational.
