RLMT expiry question

Hi guys,

I found out my RCoS application for August was rejected and the Home Office are querying the validity of the RLMT.

My job was advertised on the 12th Feb 2018 and therefore the RLMT expired on the 12th Aug 2018. I am wondering if it is worth appealing this decision as the RLMT was still valid when we submitted the application (before the 5th of Aug). Or does the RLMT still need to be valid on the date the Home office meets which was the 13th this month? And therefore my RLMT was expired by one day?

I would greatly appreciate any advice
