Biometrics

Post by Nata77 » Sat Aug 25, 2018 9:50 pm

Hello :)
We received an invitation to submit biometrics as part of our application for naturalisation. So, we've done it. Then they advised to come and pick up cards in a week's time. I thought that details taken would just go to the Home Office, and we wait for a decision regarding naturalisation as our ILR cards are still valid. Any ideas? Thank you.

Presumably this is what you were told at the Post Office. When you do biometrics for naturalisation no kind of card is issued. You use your existing card until to become British. Clearly they confused things.
This is just my opinion as a member of this forum and does not constitute immigration advice.

Post Office distribute BRPs now... In a week time... Wow... Are you sure you did your biometrics though? I would be worried :)
