Tier 1 entrepreneur Dependant absence for ILR

Post by ivat » Sun Aug 26, 2018 7:41 am

Dear all,
I'm on Tier 1 Entrepreneur Dependant visa and we will apply for ILR in June 2019 (5 years route). Please advice me on how to count absence days for the main applicant and for myself. The first entrance on our first Tier 1 visa was in February 2014. Do I count from this date 180 days in each year? Or do I count from 11.01.2018 (when the new rule of allowed absence was applied)? Thank you
Ivat

For you, as a dependant, there is no need to count absence days. Absence calculation is is only applicable to new/extension visas granted after 11.01.2018.

For the main applicant, it is counted as 180 days in every 12 month period, each 12 month period being calculated backwards from date of application.
