Hello Guys

I am current staying in UK on Tire 4 student visa. I received an unrestricted Tier 2 (General) Cos from company A, and I haven’t used it for the application. Then I decided to accepted offer from Company B which is also a Tire 2 sponsor.

Could you please let me know whether company B can issue another new Tier 2 (General) certificate of sponsorship (Cos) for me as soon as company A withdrawn my current Cos? Or we have to wait for a period after me withdrawing my current live Cos?

The first company has to withdraw the CoS and then the new company will be able to assign it to you.

Thank you so much for the help. As I do need to submit T2 visa application before my current T4 student visa expired date on 12/2018. So I need to make sure the new company is allowed to issue new cos as soon as the first company withdrawing my current cos. Is there anything, like waiting period or gap period between withdrawing cos and re-applying another cos?

Yes, the second company can do it immediately after the first company has withdrawn their CoS
