Does Trust Deed affect naturalisation

dear respected members, i have a question to ask your expert views i am in debts of 30k of hmrc and my naturalisation is due in a couple of months and i want to apply for naturalisation i been receiving letters from HMRC and been told the they will take this matter to the court i been told to pay the balance in one go which i don't have and i have requested them to pay by instalments and HMRC rejected my request as amount is too big and they can't do instalments program in this situation also i been told by my friends to go for Trust deed this way HMRC will accept my payment plan my question is this if i settle a payment plan via truest deed will it effect my naturalisation application ??? please guys help me in this situation .

£30k is a lot of money to owe to HMRC ? Could you please explain in details what kind of debt you have from HMRC , ie tax have not been paid correctly , public benefits claimed incorrectly? etc etc

Bear in mind , HMRC do prosecutions as well depending on the nature of offence ...

Generally , i think it is a lot of money and it could affect your naturalisation application .....

As long long as you're paying, it should be fine.

But sometimes it also depends on why you owe money to HMRC, is it something that was illegal you were doing and got caught or just a tax error etc.

Thank you guys for you reply it is only tax of 5 years which i was unable to pay and am thinking to go for either trust deed or DAS .

If it is a tax Evasion case ,meaning deliberate attempt not to pay tax , dishonesty etc that is more serious, a criminal offence consequences could be hefty fine or prison , we hope you have good solution of this problem ...
