Renewing Wife's Visa

Hello,

My wife moved from Indonesia to the UK around 2 years ago, and her BRP will be expiring soon and so we need to renew it.

Unfortunately, I do not have the funds to renew it at the moment. If she were to go back to Indonesia for a short time, and then we apply for a renewal, would this be OK or will it not be possible to do this?

She cannot extend outside the UK. If unlucky, then applying for entry clearance may break her continuous leave for SET(M).

Don’t forget that they require at least A2 English Language for extension.
