FLR(M) How to change premium appointment to postal

Post by Samar85 » Thu Aug 30, 2018 1:15 pm

[Mods, I have posted this as a separate topic from my previous thread purposely as my application details have changed, but please merge if you feel it's inappropriate]

Wife's BRP expires on 7th September

I have booked a premium service appointment for 25th September, not knowing that you need to apply in person BEFORE visa expiry. No earlier appointments available in any premium centres.
Basically, I will need to re-send the application via post and cancel premium altogether.

Have been going around in circles on UKVI website and phone number trying to get help.

Can anyone please guide me on how I can re-route the application to a postal one? Do you think it would be acceptable to just post the application form to the standard postal address (possibly with a covering letter explaining the situation).

Thank you in advance.

Hello there

Just cancel the appointment. You'll get a refund in 4 weeks time.

Pay the IHS again as the previous one is linked to the premium application. Again. You will get a refund.

Fill out FLR M and the payment page etc and send in the post. I believe you can do a online application if you wish and then send your supporting documents.

Husband's timeline - overstayer 11 yrs
08/16 - FLR (FP) Partner, refused 02/18, 03/18 - JR permission refused with merit
08/18 - FLR FP (Partner) PSC - Approved
07/20 - FLR FP to FLR M Switch - Approved, 03/23 FLR M Ext Approved.
