Hi
I would like some clarity in regards of applying for British naturalisation.
This is my story:
Came in the UK as a asylum seekers in March 2004. Had my ILR in December 2010. Applied for my naturalisation in 2014 but the application was refused due to a police cautious so was advised by the home office in the refusal letter to reapply after two years. And now im hearing that residency rules have changed and that you have to be legally living in the UK for 10 years. So i dont know if it applies to me or not. Been reading also about someone having his ILR through legacy case in 2012 and was advised by the home office that he can only apply after october 2017. It is confusing me this story when im being told it is 10 years
So i would like a clarity before i apply.
