Employer letter - pls help with wording

Post by marisajason » Mon Sep 03, 2018 2:10 pm

Hello everyone!
My employer is in the process of issuing me an Employer letter and Absence letter for my ILR application.
We are a little bit confused on what wording to use, can anyone please help as I know Home Office can be very particular…

Situation: I have worked in my company Y since 1st of June 2013 while I was on Tier 4 student visa which allowed me to work as well (part time during term time, and full time during non-term time)
My Tier 2 visa was issued on 9th of October 2013.

Should we put it like that:
This is to state that Ms XX is presently employed with Y and has been employed since 1st June 2013 (on Tier 2 general from 9th October 2013, before that working on Tier 4) and presently holds the position of …

Or will it be better to just say:
This is to state that Ms XX has been employed with Y on Tier 2 visa since 9th October 2013.
