FLR M Category A financial requirement question?

Hi All,

I recently got my ILR(LR). My previous visa was Tier-2 and my wife is in tier-2 Dependant which is valid till end of September 2018. However, she will complete her own 10 years in UK end of November 2018.

I'm applying for my wife's FLR (M) (to cover 2 month's the gap) and I am having trouble understanding questions 2.2 and 2.3 on the FLR(M) form.

Question 2.1 asks:
2.1 Please tick a box below to show us the category in which you are applying for an extension of stay in the UK and to confirm that you are also applying for a biometric immigration document.

We are selecting: Spouse of a person present and settled in the UK and a biometric immigration document.

Question 2.2 asks:
2.2 Is this the first time you have applied for a visa or extension of stay in one of the above categories (including previous leave granted as a fiancé(e) or proposed civil partner) with your current sponsor?

I'm not sure whether we should answer yes or no?
Its obviously not the first time she applied for a visa, as she was my dependant in Tier-2 category.

Question 2.3 asks:
2.3 Please indicate what stage of extension of leave you are applying for or why you are choosing to extend your current leave in one of the above categories.

(a) First period of leave to remain (following an initial period of entry clearance as a partner of a settled person, or following an initial period of entry clearance as a fiancé(e) or proposed civil partner of a settled person - 6 months)

(b) Second period of leave to remain (following initial grant of leave to remain).

(c) You are making a first application from within the UK but have not previously had leave to enter/remain as a partner.

(d) You delayed your travel to the UK by more than 3 months after the issue of a visa, and have not yet completed the relevant period of time in one of the categories at question 2.1

(e) You require further leave to remain to obtain the relevant qualifications to meet the Knowledge of Language and Life in the UK (KoLL) requirements to apply for indefinite leave to remain.

(f) You were granted entry as a fiancé(e) or proposed civil partner, but have not yet married or entered into a civil partnership. Please explain why in the box below and state when your marriage or civil partnership will take place.

I'm really confused here and not sure which one to tick.

This forum has been so useful to me for the last several months and I'll be really grateful if someone helps me to answer these questions.

Hi All

I really need your expert help in this.

I'm applying for my wife's visa though FLR M. I'm confused with the financial requirement questions.

Background: I've been working in the company since September 2015 (3 years). since June 2017 my salary was 32K and couple months ago I got a promotion and receiving 35K since July 2018. I've two UK born children who already applied for their naturalisation registration and UK passport two weeks ago, so they are not included in the FLR M application. However, I'm considering £24,800 as the minimum requirement for this FLR M application and opting for Category A.

Question:
1. In Section 7.3, Current salary: Should it be 32K or 35K?
2. in section 7.3A 'What is you/your sponsor's annual income for your or their current employment before tax?' Should it be 32K or 35K?

Can you please help to answer these questions?

You need to show £18,600 and not £24,800

1. 32k if applying before Jan 2019 - include employment letter to detail recent pay rise
2. same as above
