FBR - witness "personally" knowing you. Help please.

Hello

I've got all documents in place. Applied online and had my photo ID certified by a solicitor - not personally known to me. Because of this, she wasn't prepared to sign the application. I don't personally know anyone in the approved list. Has anyone had any clear guidance from the Irish Embassy about how to resolve this? I can't believe it's that unusual. Asking friends if they know anyone who'll act as a witness seems to be asking a lot of people.
