Post by Keith12 » Fri Sep 07, 2018 1:58 pm

Hi
You all are doing great job and do really appreciate the way you advice,
I have few thing to ask
1. My cousin running a consulting firm (team member) doing well and he only wants to start wholesale business (limited company) My only concern is can he open other business .
2. What will be the impact on the first business and does it affect his team member.
3. Does he need to inform home office about it.

-- Yes, he can.

2. What will be the impact on the first business and does it affect his team member.

-- What do you think will be the impact on first business? and in what perspective? Are the two business related? sharing money, etc?
-- Do you think it will have an impact on his team member? (who is his team member - another Tier1(Ent) visa holder?). - In any case, it will not have any impact.

3. Does he need to inform home office about it.
-- No nothing needs to be told to home office.

You are allowed to do business as usual. You do not need to inform HO of your business changes or particulars.
A Tier 1E migrant simply must respect the conditions of his/her stay and any restriction that they enforce.
Apart from that, you are free to do as you wish within the boundaries of the UK laws

Thanks for your valuable information.
He alone wants to do separate mobile technology business. Consulting and mobile technology are two different fields. As per my understanding , Home office will not raise any question regarding what educational background he is from, on what basis he got his tier 1 visa secondly will this not affect his extension.

Yes, that is ok

Thanks, so that means he can start off mobile technogoly business without any problem. Is there any possibility that he can operates both consulting service and mobile services from one company, what i mean is , it has to be two different company registered company instead of one company or adding mobile service to his existing company.
