Tier 2 ICT dependent visa delay

Hi all,
Me along with my 6 year old daughter applied for Tier 2 ICT dependent visa(priority) at chennai VFS. Biometrics done on 17th August. We got an email yesterday from decision making center saying the application is not straight forward. My spouse is in UK and I am very much worried about the visa process.
Anyone have any idea how long do it take for us to get the visa.
Is there anything else we can do apart from enquiring the status?
It's really so frustrating
