Post by Kzkkhan » Sun Sep 09, 2018 1:48 am

Hi, I need an advice on travel. I have biometric residence permit BRP and can apply for nationality but I have to trvel to Pakistan. Problem is my middle name is mis spelt slightly i.e. on passport its ziad and on residence permit its zaid. Will it create any problems at immigration.
Thanks in advance guys.

Ideally, should have the misspelling corrected before travel.

It may depend on how careful or paranoid the Airline staff or Immigration Officer are, at the time.

Thanks vinny, I will wait hopefully my passport arrives in time. Last question, my wife is white-british She doesn't hold british passport. On AN form it says provide either the passport or naturalisation/registration certificate. Do they mean birth certificate?
Apologies, this should have been in naturalisation section but your advise led me to apply for nationality first.

Thanks.

I think a birth certificate is neither a naturalisation nor registration certificate. Can to give the question no. on the form?
