Tier 2 (ICT) - How early can you Renew!

Hello Everyone,

Quick Background: I arrived with my family around May 15’ on Tier 2 (ICT) valid until May 17’. In Apr 17’ got it extended to May 2020’ for my wife, kids and me (all together). My Base (fixed) Salary is more than 130K, which gives me eligibility for Tier 2 (ICT) 9 year term.

Question: I am applying for a Home Loan, and for better rates/qualification would need to show that I will be here for long. Since my ICT is already valid until May 2020’, can I apply for an extension until May 2024’ now (around this or next month)? My company is willing to give me a CoS if this is the case.
