ICT Dependent -switching to Tier 2 General

Post by londonison » Tue Sep 11, 2018 11:05 pm

Hello,
Currently I am in the UK on Tier 2 ICT Dependent visa and I am working with a private healthcare company as a Clinical Engineer and my salary is 22k PA. The company is ready to provide me Tier 2 General.SOC code for my job role is 2219- Health professionals not elsewhere classified and the salary requirement mentioned in the UK Govt. site is as per NHS pay bands which is inline with my current salary and the job is not on shortage occupation list Can anyone please let me know whether the salary requirements while generating COS will be as per NHS pay band or needs to be on the higher side considering the recent visa rejections where 50K PA was the requirement? :?
Thank you

If your job is NOT in shortage, you need to be paid at least 30000 GBP annually. Less than that you won't be able to apply for the visa.

Thanks for the information.

My confusion here is that, as per UK Govt. website https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration ... illed-work Table 9 mentions about the salary requirement for the SOC code 2219. Does that mean pay rates as per Table 9 is invalid?

Thank you.
