Spouse visa - 2.5yrs extension - newborn

Post by shady87 » Mon Jun 11, 2018 11:32 am

Hi guys,

I'm coming up to applying for an extension of my spouse visa.
I'll be completing the first 2.5yrs in October.

- Is the child classified as a dependent? (I don't think so as she's british)

I assume your partner is British? If so your daughter is too if they are the parent
My comments do not constitute immigration advice, if in doubt consult an immigration adviser/solicitor

Yes my partner is british, which means my daughter is british.

Does this also mean I don't have to show financial requirements with 1 dependent?

FLR(M) - General Questions

Post by shady87 » Sun Sep 09, 2018 11:21 am

Hi guys,

I'm applying for an extension of FLR(M) online and want help with some questions;

1 - Time lived in the UK
I came to the UK on a student VISA in 2011. Do I provide this date or the date my last FLR(M) visa started?

2 - Have you been out of the UK since you started living here?
Does this only apply to absence over 6 months?

3 - Are there any factors which would make it difficult or impossible for you to integrate and establish a private life in that country?
Is there any right/recommended answer for this?

FLR (M) - Income from Self-employment

Post by shady87 » Wed Sep 12, 2018 4:14 pm

Hi guys,

Just filling out my extension for FLR (M) and want to confirm what the below means;

What was the income (in GBP) from self-employment in the last financial year?
This is the income (i.e. profit), not turnover. Please provide the figure before tax and National insurance deductions. Get the figures from either form SA302 or SA300.

Is this a sum of Employment Salary + Dividend?

The sum of Employment Salary + Dividend is above the require amount.
Employment Salary comes from both my old job (before I started my company) and my self-employment salary.

Any help appreciated.
