Irish born child

Post by zaza7625 » Wed Sep 12, 2018 7:13 pm

Hi everyone.
My registration expires at the end of nobember and finaly i was able to make an appointment by online.
There' s another issue i would like to be aware of:
As I was chacking the document list , accidently I found out that I need to print out a application form of irish born child of non eea parent, fill it out and bring with me along with other documents required.

Question: first time I was registered in immigration with irish citizen child, no one asked me about application form, i have just brought my child with documents and that was enough. Does anyone know, do the zambrano case people need application form for GNIB card renewal or not?
If yes,as a vitness, can i go to garda station and sign the form in front of garda officer?

Thanks a lot

I recently renewed my status based on Irish citizen child and was given the form to fill at the counter by the immigration officer.

No need for a garda to witness the application. The imigration officer will do that.

Depending on your immigration history your stamp duration could be maximum of three years if you have a clean history.

Thanks figomenji for your reply.
I have a 5 years green card history with no criminals. As i was told after 5 years of residence, they are issuing permanent residence or whatevet date passport is valid.
So in my case i had already 3 years stamp. I recken that long residency might be issued.
Thanks again
