Hi all,

I received my BRP card but the there is a small error on my card. My place of birth should be SHIMA, but the card shows SHINA.

However, I will have a urgent travel next month and have no time to wait for a card replacement.

My question is: is my card still valid, please? Will my card be cancelled automatically because I have reported the error?

I know Home Office will cancel the card if the holder report it lost, and he will receive an e-mail from Home Office saying the card has been cancelled. What about reporting errors, please?
