Contacting the HO regarding BC application

Post by Alanran » Sat Sep 15, 2018 12:15 pm

I have applied for BC on March , after 3 months the HO refused my application for the reason I didn’t reply to the HO letter dated on April , however the fact is I never received this letter . After that I contacted the HO requesting copy on this letter ( dated on April ) and the letter was requesting more documents to prove my residence during a specific period ( which I was able to send all the documents they requesting if I received he letter ) , however I applied again with fresh application and I have sent all the documents they requesting in the previous letter ( which I never receive) .
- My only concern now that the HO might sent me another letter requesting something and I might didn’t receive it ( I am saying that just due to the previous bad experience) , my question: is there is any way I can contact the home office by email to ask the HO that if they sent me any letter requesting more information ?
- I know I am overthinking but I had bad experience before
Any advice ?
Thank you

My wife had much the same sort of experience. In her case it was bio metrics. Receiving the '2nd' letter it said words along the lines that she had failed to respond to the 1st (which she never did receive) and this 2nd was the 'final' notification.

Given how much BC etc applications cost, I don't think it too much, in this day and age, to expect the HO to be sending critical mail out by signed for on delivery. No arguments then about whether you received it or not.

There is a phone number / email address online for contact here. Home Office Whether it will get you anywhere.............
