Travel whiling waiting for the visa

Hello all, I am switching from Tier 4 to Tier 2 visa with my Tier 4 visa remains valid till 2020.

I've got my documents back with the Tier 4 BRP card.

Can I travel outside of the UK while waiting for a decision of my Tier 2 application?

You should wait until you get your Tier 2 BRP (assume you are successful). Because your Tier 4 BRP will be invalid, you may have trouble in the airport.

However, if you are success, I assume you shouldn't be returned your Tier 4 BRP...... So if you are actually got refused your Tier 2, you can travel without waiting the decision letter comes. Good luck.
