UK Spouse Application Timeline

Application Type: Priority (Husband)
Biometric done: 10/07/18
Documents sent to Sheffield: 11/07/18
Documents received: 20/07/18
ECO email received: 10/08/18
Decision: pending

No communications since then, escalated three times after the 30 days timeline, once said decision was made on the 24th of August, however on the 19th of September was told decision pending. Not sure what is happening.

Today is the 50th working day since biometrics.

Any suggestions please.

Send them a email ask them to escalate to the department in Sheffield dealing with your case to find out whats going on.

Thank you for your reply.

I called the International contact number, they are saying the last escalation was on the 11th of September and cannot escalate for the next 15 days. I did also email them asking what is happening however no reply.

Were there any particulars in the application which made it not straightforward such as previous refusal, self employment, 2 jobs etc?

Ask your husband to go into the VFS in Sylhet or Dhaka (wherver he submitted the application) to see if passport is there, just in case a decision has been made and the centre is taking their time.

Yes, one refusal while I was in UK in 2015, I was dependant, main applicant was refused hence I was also refused.
