Hi everyone,
I've a bit of a dilemma here. I've applied for a British citizenship by naturalisation on July 2018. I’ve just received a refusal letter on September 2018.
Stating that I’ve not met the good character requirement due to refusal of my first residence card application on Nov 2011 as my EEA spouse relating to their documents of employment appeared to be false.
When we applied for the first Residence card back on 2011 the details of the employer of my spouse was wrong in an innocent mistake by the accountant of the company at the time that was rectified in a later application which granted me the residence card in early 2012.
I’ve applied for a PR in the end of 2017 and been granted that with a letter stating I can apply for the British citizenship which i did but unfortunately I received the refusal a couple of days ago.
My question here if anybody have a similar situation in the past where a reconsideration of naturalisation been successful on the basis of challenging the good character decision as it was an innocent mistake at the time.
Thanks in advance for your help and all the best for everyone.
