Passport for irish citizen child

Hi All,

As a non-eu citizen, I applied for a passport for my irish citizen child (which was succesful). However before that, the guy working on his application mailed a form (on 24/08/2018) to be filled by me as I am a non-eu citizen which details your immigration stamps and durations.

What is must surprising is that the passport online tracker says the passport was issued on 03/09/2018. But tracking with anpost says the passport was delivered on the 24/08/2018 i.e. a week earlier and it was at their depot. However, i actually recieved the passport on the 06/09/2018.

Has this happen to any of you and could anyone explain further explain this?
