Why does it take so long to process an ILR application via post?

Via the premium service you pay £600 extra and within a couple of hours your application is proccessed. Via post its takes months!

Do they just sit on the applicaton for months and then approve/decline application? Do they run extra checks? Anyone know why? :roll:

Actually simply in the queue. Like what you said, if the case is straight forward, the decision can be made in the same date.
