Hi Board/Moderators,
Its that time again where i have to face the home office and this time i am renewing my leave to remain which was granted 2.5years ago on the parent route. I am currently on the 10 year route and so this shall be my second 2.5years to be granted if successful. usually people say renewals shouldnt scare that much but this time around i am doing everything myself as i do not want to use a lawyer/solicitor for this, hence why i am here to seek all of your guidance and outmost help you all having been giving to immigrants on this forum.
To begin, basically i have a few questions just to clarify.
Firstly i work as a financial contractor so hence i do my taxes through an accountant. i understand i do not need to prove finances on 10 year route but i do know i still need to prove i can comfortably survive in the uk. in this regard is my bank statements just enough or i need to get my accountant to prepare my payslips and self assessments? is 3 months bank statement enough or 6 months. i knew it be 6 months but my mate has just successfully got his and he did with a 3 months bank statement. please help me confirm this is perfectly okay.
Secondly, my passport expires same time as my current leave so hence i have decided to renew my passport before submitting my application but i do need to send off application without the passport and confirm to HO i will forward it to them once its been issued by my embazzy, is this a possible move to do. if so i dont know how to go around paying for my IHS to include in my application as it requires your passport number and seeing my current passport number is going to change to a new one i dont know what to do with getting the IHS number.do i use the current passport number which is about to expire and update HO with new passport number ?
Thirdly, i was under the impression this route cannot be applied for thru premium services. please confirm if this is right or not.
Thanks very much and il be sure to add any more questions if they arise in the future. Many thanks once more.
