UK tourist visa

Hello Members,

We have processed UK tourist visa for my mother-in-law, they have granted the visa for 6 months from September 2018 to february 2019. but now we have a change of plan ,she would like to travel in April 2019 and we want to reapply her visa for another 6 months from April 2019.. is it possible to apply fresh visa for another 6 months from April 2019?..another query is incase if she travels to UK in october for 1 month, is she eligible to apply a visa in April 2019 for 6 months?

Can you please advise on this.

Her tourist visa is valid for 6 months so she can stay for 1 month in October then return without any problem. If she applies again in April they will assess the application afresh and make a decision.

Leaving UK before her tourist visa expires will possibly put her in their good books for future tourist visa application.
