Dear all
Today I received an email from home office saying that they haven't received my English language qualification which was sent by the council using NDRS. Anyway I explained situation and cw replied I can forward a scan of the certificate.
What I saw underneath the email is that
A qualification in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) or a National Qualification in ESOL awarded by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) is no longer accepted as evidence of knowledge of English for naturalisation, unless it is a qualification from the current SELT list taken at a Secure Test centre.
However gov.uk states that
You can use a B1 level qualification that’s run out if you’re applying for citizenship and it was accepted when you settled in the UK.
It doesn’t matter if the B1 level test you took isn’t on the current list of recognised tests. You don’t need to take another test.
Will my application be refused ???
I am stuck please help..
