Lying on tier 4 student visa application

Post by Citizen101 » Fri Sep 28, 2018 6:04 pm

Hi I'm new need a question answered wondered if someone here can help with some advice?

I know someone who has a tier 4 student visa, I know that she has lied about a few minor things like amount of money and address etc on her application.

She has also while here lied in court statements for someone, but that has yet to be revealed at the trial which is next month.

Is there anything I can do about this person, if reported to the home office they can cross reference her application and her court statement and see that she lied about some things in her statement.

My question is is it worth it to report her? Will home office actually do something about this?

If they won't do anything about her lying in her application about her address will they if it's proven at the trial that she lied in court statements?

The trial isn't against her btw, she's provided a false witness statement for the person who is funding her stay here, the trial is against him.

Any advice is appreciated

No one likes a grass! What exactly do you intend to achieve by presenting these accusations?. Without clear and proper proof of false statement being made etc it may not even be investigated.

Hi Londoner, I'm not a grass, I'm an innocent person whom this liar is trying to get into trouble, so naturally I want to fight back.

I have a court case against a guy whom has made my life hell and she is providing false statements and alibis for him making it difficult for me to expose him.

I know she's doing this because she's at the end of her visa and doesn't want him to stop funding it, frankly she has no right to be here if she's lying to the courts and stopping justice taking its course. This is the UK and if she can't live by the laws here and be a decent person and stop lying for an abusive guy to fund her stay then yes I've a problem with her. I don't even know her and she's told lies against me that never occurred just to help him out.

My question is a technical one so no personal attacks pls. Is lying on a tier 4 student visa, even if a minor lie, a serious thing and would the visa providers take this seriously? That's all I wanna know if anyone has the answer feel free to respond.

If you have evidence of it you can report it direct to home office.

But before you do, take a moment to think about it. Is it just case of getting own back or is it justified and can ruin someones immigration status. If they acted as you say they have then report it to:
