Impact of over stay in U.S on Tier 4 Visa

Post by MUsman786 » Sat Sep 29, 2018 12:26 pm

I was in U.S on Tourist visa this year for which I applied for extension of stay for another 6 months. I returned to my home country before the date I asked extension until for. My application for extension of stay is still pending and I just have receipt notice of acceptance of application for extension of stay.

Now I am in my home country and have been accepted by a university in UK for Master Program.

If I apply for Tier 4 Visa now while my application for extension of stay in U.S still pending, will there be any potential issue for getting Tier 4 Visa? Will home office consider my extension of stay in US as over stay?

Please advise.

Encashed Term Deposit Certificates

Post by MUsman786 » Sat Sep 29, 2018 12:30 pm

I encashed my Term Deposit Certificates last week and got letter from bank manager stating that xyz amount was credited to my account on September 25th against encashment of Term Deposit Certificates which were maintained by account holder since October 2016. Do I still need to keep encashed amount for atleast 28 consecutive days before I can apply for Tier 4 Visa?

Student Visa for U.S (F-1) and for UK (Tier 4)

Post by MUsman786 » Sat Sep 29, 2018 12:32 pm

I have been accepted by Universities both in UK and US. Is it okay to apply for Tier 4 and F-1 Visas at the same time. If first visa gets refused , will this have any impact on second visa application?

There is no generic answer. It depends on the reason for the refusal.

Secondly , I encashed my Term Deposit Certificates last week and got letter from bank manager stating that xyz amount was credited to my account on September 25th against encashment of Term Deposit Certificates which were maintained by account holder since October 2016. Do I still need to keep encashed amount for atleast 28 consecutive days before I can apply for Tier 4 Visa?

Third, I got acceptance letter from Universities in US and UK, if I apply for both F-1 and Tier -4 parallel , will refusal of one visa could impact other one?

Please advise.
