Tier 2 general extension - criminal record certificate

I need to apply for my tier 2 general extension this end of December. I work in healthcare. Was wondering if I needed to submit criminal check record with my other documents??

If yes, how do I go about in getting it? Will providing DBS be enough?

it shouldn't be required when you just do the extension application. But still better ask your HR.
