I want to bring my parents in Uk with tourist Visa. Sponsor will be my EEA husband

Post by erildakaci » Thu Oct 04, 2018 12:35 pm

Hi,

I want to bring my parents for a month in Uk with a tourist visa.
The invitation letter will be signed from me and my husband. But my husband will be stated as the sponsor for my parents trip and accomodation, since I am unemployed.
He has the bank statements, tenancy agreement, pay slips. He is in UK with a European passport, and I currently have a residence card as EEA Family member.
Can my husband be the sponsor for my parents?

Both my parents have bank statements, my mother from her salary and my dad from his pension, they have a house in their name.

Is a good idea to send a tourist visa for both of them, since my dad is not working, he is in pension?
Should i send the invitation for both at the same time, or two different invitation?

What other doccuments should I provide?
Me and my husband got married in Albania, my country, should i get the marriage certificate from Albania or from Greece my husbands country?
Do I need to ask for personal or family certificate from Greece for my husband?
Or just use the marriage or family certificate in Albania?

Thank you in advance

There is no such a thing as a 'UK sponsor' for a standard short stay visa. It is generally your parents who have to provide all the documents and evidence to satisfy the UKVI officers in order to secure a visa. They certainly need fully paid return tickets, evidence or a letter that they will stay with you and a copy of your residence permit and some evidence of finances. If your husband is covering their costs during their visit to the UK, you can send 3 months of bank statements, payslips or a proof of an income like an accountant's letter.

There are NO specific documents so they need to supply as many documents as they can to satisfy the visa officer

Given that your husband is an EEA citizen, your parents can apply for the cheaper and easier Family Permit if they can prove that they are financially dependent on your EEA citizen husband.

Is there proof of regular financial transfers from your husband to your parents?
