T2G dependent work restriction

Hi Gurus.
My wife entered UK on 23.09.2016 with T2G dependent visa. Her BRP got work restriction "No DR/DEN Train".
She wanted to enrol in a Level 3 diploma for Dental Nurse as she worked as dental nurse in Singapore. The course is based on working in a dental clinic as trainee dental nurse.
Just a week ago she managed to secure a trainee dental nurse apprentice role. The course provider informed today that apprentice job is public funded. So she should not enroll to apprentice program. I agree with this.
However, the person from course provider is confused whether can she enroll in the course by her own fund (a number of own funded course is available) and work as a trainee dental nurse which will later lead to GDC registered dental nurse after successful completion of the course.
I read the PBS (dependent) policy guide and could not make out if level 3 diploma/trainee dental nurse falls within the BRP restriction.
Would highly appreciate your expert opinion.

You better ask the Home Office. But Dental nurse is different from dentist.
