Hi all, My husband applied for a join irish spouse visa 2 months ago. I have Irish citizenship and have been in Ireland for 21 years. I got married recently and before that My husband visited me twice in Ireland on a short term tourist visa. I queried the status of my application and INIS told me it can take 6 to 12 months which on the website it says 6 months for Irish citizens. I then asked whether we should apply for a tourist visa while we wait if it takes so long and they responded by saying if he got that he cant stay more than 90 days which we know as he has been in Ireland twice but they wouldnt advise whether to do this or not. Does anyone know is there a way to speed up the process?considering I have been living in Ireland and working for 21 years in a good career. I also didnt provide full relationship history as he has been here with me twice so I sent his visa stamps etc and marriage cert. I provided pictures For the previous tourist visa applications so I didnt think I would need it for this one.Would they reject the application on that basis? Thanks!
