Tier 4 student married to irish nationality

Post by Imtiaztiaz » Mon Oct 08, 2018 3:55 am

Recently i got married to my gf before my tier 4 visa expires, due to my health issues at the time
Of my university course i missed a number of classes and they decieded not to give my CAS letter for further study.

I messaged the head of student department regarding this and she clearly emailed me back saying that i can get back into the course once i get the visa again .

But just couple of days ago , i received an email
Confirming that they have withdrawn me from my course .

Is there anything i could do about it? I paid 35,00£ in a period of 4 years and need some help regarding this .

Thanks

If you are married to an EU national who is exercising a right of residence in the UK, you can remain in the UK on that basis and study as you wish without needing Tier 4 sponsorship anyway.

Whether you can rejoin the course is another matter. It depends on why you were removed. If it is poor attendance or lack of progress, you may or may not be allowed back onto the course. You are in the same position as any non-Tier 4 student who has been excluded.

This isn't a Tier 4 matter. If you are not clear on what you can and cannot do as the family member of an EEA national, get specific advice about that.
