Switched job, new tier 2, but no mention of police registration?

Post by rodvmu » Tue Oct 09, 2018 8:10 pm

Hi all,

I've recently had my 4th tier 2 approved. Unfortunately (or luckily) I changed jobs a lot these past 3 years. The strange thing is, unlike all my previous letter of approvals, my latest one doesn't say anything about the police registration. Now I'm concerned if I should still notify that I have a new visa, like I've done for all my previous visas and got a new stamp on my police certificate, or if I should just let it go?

It's a case of conflicting information. I've got a police certificate which states I should notify any change of circumstance. But at the same time, the OVRO website says they will only update details if I bring a letter of approval saying I need to do so (and my latest one doesn't).

I'm thinking about heading to the OVRO anyway to update my details and see what they say. Has anyone experienced this chicken and egg dilemma?

You need to go when you have new visa extended. Nothing lose.
