1st referee for MN1

Hi All,

My child is 4.5 years old and I am applying for her naturalization.

I have 3 questions regarding referee 1:

1. It says in the guidance that the 1st referee should know the child in professional capacity. I, however, don't know anyone who knows her in professional capacity for 3 years - she just started the school and changed her nurseries 2 times before, so there is no one who knows her for 3 years. Will it be ok if my friend who knows her for 3 years, will act as a 1st referee?
2. If Yes to Question 1, should I include a cover letter explaining why the 1st referee is not someone who knows her in professional capacity?
3. If Yes to Question 1, my friend who is going to be the abovementioned 1st referee is a registered Pharmacist. Is this profession ok? The second referee is a 25+ old British citizen so no problems with this.
