Hi!
My fiance and I are so upset and tired of long distance (4 years) and would like the quickest route of him being able to move to the UK.
He is Albanian and I am British so we would like to try a fiance or spouse visa application.
Is a fiance visa better as a marriage in the UK will be better for our spouse visa later on?
Do we need to do an engagement party in order to document the photos or are other photos enough?
Or should we just get married elsewhere and apply for a spouse visa as this way?
He also recently applied for a visitor visa not to visit me but to come for 4 days to attend a work conference but was refused due to not enough funds. He did not say he was going to meet me because he was only going to stay 4 days. He also stated he was single as we are not married or anything and there were no other options to choose from.
We were told this could reduce our chances of being approved for a visa, is this really the case?
If we explain this in a letter could this help?
Also is the sponsor’s birth certificate required?
I know it’s a lot of questions but any responses would be really appreciated! I would really like to get started
Thank you in advance!
