UK citizen moving to Ireland with non EU wife

Hi folks my Wife and I want to relocate to Ireland from the UK she is currently in the UK on a 6 month family visa. We have just got back from a visit to Ireland and with her using her uk visa to travel.

Can someone please detail the process we need to go through on arriving in Ireland to stay exercising our right under EU treaty ...what do we do on arrival and step by step process of getting Irish residents permits.

Thanks for that link. When we visited Ireland last week my wife's passport was stamped with a 90 Day visa I understand this is not a multiple visit visa but my question is when we next go over to Ireland from the UK to stay am I right in thinking we need to enter the same way and then make an application to exercise EU treaty rights and for my Wife to register with immigration and apply for an IRP?

Yes you enter the same as you did in your last visit and once here apply for the Residence Card. I’d say you’ll need to hurry with your application before Brexit officially happens
