Positive visa decision even after work start date

I’m worried that my work starts on 15 October and until now, I have not received my visa.

I have chanced to lodge the application to the Ireland consulate. I am now running on the 5th week (the process would have taken 4-6 weeks)

Will that affect the decision? Can they give positive decision about my case?
